Truck Driver Class A CDL - HAZ MAT (Day Shift-Home Daily)

We are seeking a Hazmat Class “A” CDL Driver with tanker endorsements to load, deliver, unload and pickup product and supplies from various local customers. Must be a dependable, responsible person with a positive attitude that is concerned with customer satisfaction. Must have current endorsements and adhere to all DOT regulations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Be able to perform pre and post trip inspections of vehicles, trailers and equipment
• Safe and timely pick up and drop off of product and supplies
• Must check all paperwork for accuracy
• Must be able to communicate with dispatch for delivery and pickup coordination
• Must be able to walk, drive, lift, and carry heavy items for extended periods of time
• Must be able to pass background check, and pass a drug screen
• Strong time management and customer service skills
• Must be detail oriented and well organized
• Effective and professional communication skills
• Dependable and punctual

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent or equivalent job description
• Clean driving record
• Valid driver’s license with current Class A, Hazmat, Doubles, Tanker endorsements
• 1-2 years' experience as Hazmat driver
