Cost Allocation Consultant

Diversified Services Network, Inc. is looking for a skilled Cost Allocation Consultant to join our team. This position is vital in helping our organization manage and allocate costs effectively to enhance financial performance and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement cost allocation methodologies and systems
• Analyze financial data and identify trends to recommend cost improvements and efficiencies
• Collaborate with various departments to understand their cost structure and develop allocation strategies
• Prepare comprehensive reports detailing findings, recommendations, and methodologies used in cost allocation
• Provide training and support to team members on cost allocation practices and tools
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices affecting cost allocation
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis
• Participate in financial audits and ensure compliance with policies and regulations

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years experience in cost allocation, financial analysis, or accounting
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in financial software and Excel; experience with ERP systems preferred
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
