Substance Abuse Counselor for a Federally Funded Youth Center located in Troutdale, OR

OPPORTUNITY :

PsyPhyCare a division of Business Staffing of America Inc. is seeking to contract with a Substance Abuse Counselor for a Federal supported client in Troutdale OR.

DESCRIPTION :

Responsible to develop and facilitate the Centers alcohol drug and tobacco prevention program. Educates and counsels students to reduce and prevent drug-related separations from the program. Develops individualized case management plans to enhance student retention and success. Ensures confidentiality of sensitive information and compliance with all HIPAA laws.

20-30 hours per week or 3 days out of the normal work week. The facility is open Monday-Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.

The students ages are 16-24.

Position Requirements / Qualifications :

Bachelors degree from an accredited school preferred. A minimum of one year experience in drug / alcohol counseling or related field required. Valid In-State Certification in Substance Abuse Counseling / Prevention required.

Required license or certification : CADC

Required experience : Counseling : 1 year
