A CNC Machine Tool Application Engineer contributes to the success of Hartwig by working hand-in-hand with our Sales team to provide support and be a technical resource to ensure customer satisfaction. The customers we serve are in a variety of industries and rely on the Hartwig team to provide the best manufacturing solutions and support the machine tool industry. This full-time position is based in the Kansas City, MO area.

The main responsibilities include :

• Evaluating manufacturing processes and recommending industry-leading solutions
• Developing and testing alternative processing methods
• Performing time studies for process improvement recommendations
• Overseeing machine installations
• Conducting research and assisting in presenting proposals to customers
• Performing on-site programming and machine operation training for customers
• Facilitating customer demonstrations by setting up and programming machine tools
