Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients in various settings, including acute care, outpatient services, and specialized units. The Registered Nurse will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients of all ages.

Duties

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments of patients, including toddlers and infants.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

• Provide acute pain management strategies for patients experiencing discomfort.

• Perform IV insertion and manage intravenous therapy effectively.

• Assist with tube feeding for patients requiring nutritional support.

• Deliver specialized care in memory care units, addressing the unique needs of patients with cognitive impairments.

• Support patients undergoing procedures in an ambulatory surgery center, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.

• Monitor vital signs and patient conditions, intervening as necessary to maintain optimal health status.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.

• Educate patients and families on health management, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.

• Experience in toddler and infant care is preferred but not required.

• Proficiency in performing physical examinations and managing acute pain effectively.

• Familiarity with IV insertion techniques and tube feeding procedures is highly desirable.

• Previous experience in memory care or an ambulatory surgery center is a plus.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to educate patients clearly.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining patient confidentiality.
