Everstaff is seeking an experienced accounting professional to support full-cycle accounting operations as a Junior Accountant. This role is well suited for a self-directed individual with strong technical accounting skills, advanced QuickBooks Online experience, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a deadline-driven, onsite setting.
Hourly pay range: $27–$32, $57,000-$67,000, with flexibility for candidates whose experience closely aligns
Fully onsite position, five days per week
Monday-Friday, 8-hour workdays (latest start time: 8:30 a.m.)

Key Responsibilities
- Perform reconciliations for bank, credit card, loan, and liability accounts
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Code and match transactions using bank feeds within QuickBooks Online
- Record customer payments and post vendor invoices accurately
- Process vendor payments and ensure timely disbursements
- Post transactions to the appropriate accounts and accounting periods
- Record payroll-related journal entries
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements for accuracy and completeness
- Post prepaid, accrual, and other adjusting journal entries
- Assist with special projects and ad hoc accounting tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 4 years of full-cycle business accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and research skills
- Experience with accounts receivable and accounts payable systems and procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats
- Capable of working independently while following established processes and direction
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- High level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and customer-focused mindset
- Self-starter with the ability to adapt, prioritize, and use good professional judgment
