The Opportunity

We are seeking a Pricing Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing freight data and developing competitive pricing strategies that drive profitability and customer satisfaction. This position is integral to optimizing MVE’s pricing performance, ensuring alignment with market trends and organizational goals, and collaborating with internal teams to enhance overall efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Pricing Strategy Development: Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and internal data to create competitive and profitable pricing models.
• Freight Rate Analysis: Evaluate historical and current shipment data to recommend rate adjustments that improve margins and enhance competitiveness.
• Bid and RFP Management: Collaborate with sales and operations teams to prepare accurate and timely responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and bids.
• Cost Modeling: Develop cost models that reflect operational expenses and service requirements, ensuring alignment with profitability goals.
• Market Research: Conduct research on competitors, industry benchmarks, and regional trends to maintain competitive pricing.
• Data Reporting: Generate reports and dashboards to communicate pricing performance, trends, and opportunities to leadership and stakeholders.

Requirements:

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in pricing analysis, transportation, or logistics (LTL experience strongly preferred).

Compensation

• Compensation: $70,000 - $90,000 annually, based on experience and location.
• Classification: Exempt, subject to all applicable state and federal laws.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, fully remote, at-will position with standard business hours. We offer some flexibility to accommodate individual needs.

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

· Ability to lift and/or move up to 20-25 pounds.

· Ability to navigate each department and the company’s facilities as needed.
