Job Description

As a Security Officer - Armed Community Paramedic  in Boca Raton, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a premier residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. This driving and armed post offers the opportunity to remain visible throughout the community, build relationships with residents, and respond to incidents as needed. What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the residential location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment for residents and guests.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all incidents, patrols, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
  • Assist residents and visitors by providing information or directions as needed, while maintaining a visible security-related presence.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services during incidents as directed by site management or Allied Universal protocols.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Must have a Paramedic Certificate
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
