Ampcus Inc. is a certified global provider of a broad range of Technology and Business consulting services. We are in search of a highly motivated candidate to join our talented Team. Job Title : Assembler 1st Shift. Location : Westbury, NY. Essential Functions :

  • Follows assigned manufacturing procedures to perform product assembly
  • Reports on conformances in products to Management
  • Ensures the assigned bench is clean and organized
  • May perform other tasks as required by the Company

Qualifications :

  • Must be dependable and responsible. Good Attendance is a MUST.
  • Good hand dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
  • Mechanical abilities are a strong plus for this position.
  • Attention to details
  • The Company will provide necessary training and certifications as required for the position upon hire.

  • This job takes place in a Manufacturing environment.

    • Physical Demands :

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
  • The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Minimum weight of products is 5 pounds.

    • Position Type / Expected Hours of Work :

  • Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the "core" work hours of 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM and must work 40 hours each week to maintain full-time status.
  • Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

    • Required Education and Experience :

  • H.S. Diploma or GED. Prior experience as a mechanical assembler is a strong plus or other job that requires mechanical abilities.
