Part-Time Position Without Benefits

The City of Laredo is seeking a part-time employee to assist in the maintenance of Buena Vista Sports Complex and in the coordination of special events. This position will monitor, participate, and assist in ensuring that buildings and grounds are properly maintained and that special events run smoothly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Assists with the setting-up of special events; assists with maintenance activities, such as cleaning, moping, washing and waxing floors, cleaning and shampooing carpets, painting walls and fixtures, repairing lights, etc., moves chairs and tables for special events.
• Performs grounds maintenance work, such as cutting grass with the weed eater, edger, or lawn mower.
• Performs other related work as required.
