Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Grant Administrator for a highly respected national nonprofit partner dedicated to advancing community-driven initiatives and equitable environmental programs. This hybrid position is based in Seattle, Washington, with the option for partial remote work.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Grant Administrator will play a key role in supporting a large federal grantmaking program that advances environmental justice and community wellbeing. Working as part of a collaborative and mission-driven team, this individual will help empower local organizations to access and manage public grant funds efficiently and equitably. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational, communication, and compliance skills while demonstrating a deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Partner with grantee organizations to support understanding of grant processes, reporting, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate across internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and accurate disbursement and tracking of grant funds
  • Maintain organized grant documentation and financial records to support transparency and accountability
  • Provide responsive technical assistance to grantees to help simplify reporting and reduce administrative burden
  • Compile data and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of grant management systems and processes

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience supporting federal, state, or institutional grant programs, including familiarity with compliance and reporting practices
  • Strong commitment to equity, inclusion, and community partnership in grantmaking and program implementation
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency with database or CRM systems (such as Salesforce) and Microsoft Office tools

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
