Position Summary

The Bartender is responsible for creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for guests by preparing and serving beverages with efficiency and professionalism. This position requires strong customer service skills, knowledge of drink preparation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Bartender ensures all bar areas are clean, well-stocked, and compliant with local alcohol regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner. • Maintain knowledge of the drink menu, ingredients, and bar offerings. • Check guest identification to ensure legal drinking age requirements are met. • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including counters, equipment, and storage. • Restock supplies and ingredients as needed throughout the shift. • Handle transactions accurately using the POS system and manage tabs. • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and creating a positive atmosphere. • Follow all alcohol service laws and safety guidelines.

• Monitor guest behavior and report any safety or security concerns to management. • Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required. • Must be 21 years or older. • Previous bartending experience preferred. • Must possess or obtain a valid alcohol server certification (as required by Utah state law). • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure. • Reliable, punctual, and detail oriented. • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs. • Must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and evenings.
