Description

Job Title : Fleet Mechanic Morning Shift (2a Start)

We are seeking an Experienced Gas / Diese l Fleet Mechanic to join our team. As a Fleet Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our delivery fleet, which includes Sprinters, Isuzu Reach, W700's, Ford Transits and Cargo Vans. This is a full-time position that offers competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities :

  • Perform routine maintenance on delivery fleet vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on fleet vehicles, including diesel engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
  • Conduct thorough inspections of fleet vehicles to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns
  • Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed on fleet vehicles
  • Communicate with management and drivers to ensure that all vehicles are safe and roadworthy
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 4-years of experience as a diesel mechanic or fleet mechanic
  • Experience working with Sprinters, Isuzu Reach, W700's, and Ford Transits
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
  • Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues quickly and accurately
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Must have own tools
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
