A bit about us :

A well-established agricultural services company is seeking a Temporary AP Data Entry Clerk to support the accounting department with invoice processing, data entry, and general Accounts Payable functions. This role reports directly to the Accounting Manager and plays a key part in ensuring accurate and efficient financial recordkeeping.

This is a partially on-site position with required in-office days on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (9 : 00 AM–5 : 30 PM). Monday and Wednesday offer flexibility to work in office or remotely.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities

Enter invoices, bills, and financial documents into the accounting system with accuracy and efficiency

Verify entries and ensure all items match supporting documentation

Route invoices to internal team members for approval

Code and post AP invoices

Prepare journal entries

Assist with vendor account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies related to invoices or payments

Follow company accounting procedures and compliance standards

Qualifications

Experience in agriculture, multi-entity accounting, or intercompany activity is a plus

Knowledge of NetSuite preferred

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and meet deadlines

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Quick learner and resourceful

Compensation

Hourly Rate : $23–$27 per hour (depending on experience)

Work Schedule

In-office : Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (9 : 00 AM–5 : 30 PM)

Hybrid option : Monday and Wednesday may be worked on-site or from home
