Certified Coding Specialist

A company is looking for a Per Diem Coding Specialist responsible for coding medical records for Radiology.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate medical record documentation and coding to ensure accurate reimbursement and compliance with legal standards

Interpret medical information to assign and sequence correct ICD-10-CM and CPT codes

Provide technical guidance to resolve issues related to incomplete records and coding discrepancies

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Certified Professional Coder - American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) preferred

0-1 year of medical coding experience preferred

Proficiency in ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and modifiers for coding

Familiarity with computer applications and data entry skills
