Job Description

The Graphic Designer is responsible for working with both internal and external clients as a design and layout expert to create innovative marketing materials and program products based on the needs of the organization. This position works with a wide range of projects and duties, from print publications to web pages, produces innovative concepts and designs, and works collaboratively with internal publications to execute designs for a variety of projects on both extended and short timelines.

Education Qualifications

1. Associate's degree required; Associate's degree with coursework in graphic design, communications design or related field preferred
2. 3 years of related experience can substitute for degree requirement

Experience:

1. Minimum 3 years of experience in graphic design, communications design, or related field preferred

Special Knowledge and Skills:

1. Strong interpersonal skills
2. Demonstrated knowledge of web design including HTML and CSS required
3. Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Affinity Suite
4. Strong skills in style and design including color, spacing, and typography required
5. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of print design required
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on short timelines; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
7. Strong attention to detail
8. Strong written and verbal communication skills

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Ensure design execution has exceptional use of branding and fundamental design elements including color, typography, layout, and appropriate imagery
2. Prioritize and complete multiple design projects in a fast-paced environment
3. Design and develop innovative marketing materials and program products based on organizational needs
4. Be involved in design development processes and presentation of ideas and designs directly to clients and colleagues

Salary: From 22.41

Salary: To 32.24
