Join the Quality Harvest Foods Team as a Sanitation Technician!

Location : Portland, OR | SWING Shifts (1 PM - 9 : 30 PM) | Starting Pay : $19.00 / hr

Are you a reliable, detail-oriented team player with a strong work ethic? Quality Harvest Foods, a leader in delivering top-notch food products, is looking for an enthusiastic Sanitation Technician to join our team on the day shift . What You’ll Do :

  • Execute daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, washing, wiping down, and vacuuming equipment and facilities.
  • Operate tools like pressure washers, floor scrubbers, and more to keep our plant spotless.
  • Dismantle equipment as needed to ensure thorough cleaning and sanitization.
  • Follow all Sanitary Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs) and safety protocols, including Lock Out / Tag Out procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and timely sanitation records.

    • What We’re Looking For :

  • Ability to safely handle caustic and sanitary chemicals.
  • Forklift and scissor lift certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
  • Strong team collaboration skills and attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in damp, hot, or confined spaces.
  • A focus on attendance and reliability.

    • Qualifications :

  • Availability for weekends and three weekdays.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to protocols.
  • Candidates must be able to comprehend and communicate effectively in English or Spanish . Being bilingual in both languages is a plus but not required.
