Physician Assistant-Orthopedic Surgery: Sports Medicine

Banner - University Medical Center Phoenix is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our distinguished Sports Medicine team. This is an exceptional opportunity to collaborate with highly experienced sports medicine specialists, delivering comprehensive non-surgical care to athletes and active individuals in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong passion for sports medicine and an unwavering commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

Location: Banner - University Medical Center Phoenix

Schedule: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct patient evaluations, including histories and physical examinations.

- Order and interpret diagnostic tests to support clinical decision-making.

- Perform procedures such as joint injections, aspirations, casting, splinting, and other orthopedic interventions.

- Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other members of the care team.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Licensure: Active, unrestricted Arizona license as a Physician Assistant (NCCPA certification required).

- Experience: Experience in orthopedic surgery preferred.

- Certifications: Must meet all credentialing requirements for Physician Assistants at Banner Health.

- Prescribing Privileges: Must meet all prescribing requirements for Physician Assistants at Banner Health.
