Department Overview

The IT Software Development team is responsible for designing building testing and maintaining software systems that support an organizations internal operations or external products. Their work is foundational to enabling digital capabilities improving efficiency and driving innovation.

Position Responsibilities

Assist in the design development testing and deployment of internal software applications.

Write clean efficient and well-documented code using languages such as Python Java JavaScript or C#.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand business needs.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development practices.

Support the integration of APIs databases and third-party services.

Help troubleshoot and debug software issues.

Contribute to the implementation of AI-driven features or automation tools where applicable.

Document technical specifications user guides and system workflows.

Minimum Qualifications

Currently a student earning a Bachelor s or Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Information Technology or a related field .

Must be graduating between May 202 6 and August 202 7

Familiarity with one or more programming languages (e.g. Python Java JavaScript C#)

Understanding of software development principles and methodologies

Basic knowledge of databases (SQL NoSQL) and version control systems .

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilitie s

Desired Qualifications

Experience with web development frameworks .

Exposure to cloud platforms

Interest or experience in AI / ML technologies and their application in software development

Salary Statement with pay range

Bloom Energy is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The total compensation for this position is based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills and experience.

Salary Range : $36.00 - $ 50.00

Salary Ranges : $45.75 - $50.00
