Job Title : Physician - Pulmonary Critical Care

Join a dynamic team of healthcare professionals in Davenport, Iowa! This position offers the opportunity to work alongside 4 other experienced physicians in a facility located on the scenic banks of the Mississippi River. With a capacity of 500 beds and a dedicated 20-bed ICU, the practice provides comprehensive medical, surgical, and trauma care to the community. Job Responsibilities :

  • Provide inpatient, outpatient, and ICU care with shared call responsibilities.
  • Manage up to 20 ICU patients daily with nurse practitioner support.
  • Conduct procedures including chest tube insertion, bronchoscopy, and thoracentesis.
  • Supervise and mentor Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.
  • Engage in comprehensive documentation using Cerner EMR.
  • Care for various pulmonary conditions such as asthma, COPD, and pneumonia.
  • Participate in purchasing and implementing pulmonary rehabilitation and diagnostic tests.
  • Facilitate continuous educational development and professional growth.

Qualifications :

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Disease.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care Medicine (must have plans to test).
  • Completed fellowship in Pulmonary Disease / Critical Care Medicine (new graduates are welcome).
  • Demonstrated experience with various pulmonary procedures and treatments.
  • Clean malpractice history preferred.

    • License and Certification Requirements :

  • Current Iowa medical license or willingness to obtain one.
  • ACLS certification is required.
  • State experience with critical conditions and procedures is necessary.
