Inventory Control Associate
Pay : $22.00 / hour
Location : Richardson, TX
Schedule : Typically 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM (Must be flexible for overtime and weekends as needed)
Role Overview
Our client is seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Inventory Control Associate who thrives in a fast-paced, physical environment. This is not a "desk-heavy" supply chain role; it is a hands-on position requiring daily operation of a Stand-Up Forklift , pulling product from high racks, and performing rigorous physical counts. The successful candidate will serve as the frontline defense against inventory loss, where accuracy directly impacts our client's bottom line.
Key Responsibilities
Physical Movement : Expertly operate a Stand-Up Forklift and other equipment (Cherry Picker / Sit Down) to pull, move, and organize product in high-level racking areas.
Inventory Auditing : Conduct daily and monthly cycle counts to ensure 100% physical-to-system accuracy.
Material Handling : Manually pull products from racks and transport materials to support DC Operations and offsite vendors.
Discrepancy Research : Identify, investigate, and resolve inventory "drifts." You will be responsible for locating missing products and correcting errors.
Communication : Maintain professional email correspondence with our client's Finance, Information Systems, and Leadership teams regarding inventory levels.
Process Improvement : Collaborate with the team to improve physical workflows, documentation, and safety procedures within the warehouse.
Required Qualifications
Forklift Expertise : Must have documented experience operating a Stand-Up Forklift .
Physical Stamina : Ability to be on your feet all day, lift products, and work comfortably in high-reach racking environments.
Extreme Accuracy : A "detective" mindset is required; our client emphasizes that accuracy is key to preventing significant financial loss.
