Mooseheart Child City & School : Summer Recreation Worker

Under the guidance of our Recreation Coordinator , you'll help bring our summer recreation program to life-leading games, activities, and special events that encourage fun, confidence, teamwork, and personal growth for the youth in our care. You'll gain hands-on leadership experience while working alongside a supportive, mission-driven team.

What You'll Do

Supervise and engage youth participating in the summer recreation program

Actively lead games, group activities, and recreational events

Model and teach appropriate social skills and positive behaviors

Explain expectations clearly and help youth understand choices and consequences

Create a positive, inclusive environment through encouragement, role modeling, and hands-on participation

Provide constructive feedback to support skill-building and personal growth

Reinforce positive behavior with praise and incentives; apply appropriate consequences when needed

Utilize the Mooseheart Model of Care in daily interactions

Maintain confidentiality of youth, staff, and organizational information
