[job_card.job_description]Payroll Processing Experience Benefit Administration Experience Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred Experience with enterprise-level accounting software is helpful Strong mathematical and analytical skills Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Excellent oral and written communication skills Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Must be able to keep matters strictly confidential Have an outgoing personality and will contribute to a positive working environment Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future Entry-level to experienced payroll position Training and advancement opportunities Hours : Monday - Friday, 7 : 30 am to 4 : 00 pm Three weeks of paid time off. Includes a paid week off between Christmas and New Year Seven paid holidays Discretionary year-end bonus 100% paid health, vision, and dental benefits for employees & 50% for dependents 401K retirement plan with a 3% matching program Pay increases based on performance Friendly team environment and fun company events Relocation assistance is not available for this position

WHAT YOU'LL DO
As part of the Accounting Department, the Payroll Administrator will share in the responsibilities of processing payroll, posting payroll journal entries, onboarding new hires, managing benefits, including 401(k) and insurance, maintaining employee records, answering employee questions, and other duties as assigned while working closely with the accounting team. A great attitude and an upbeat personality are a must. Other expectations may include :
- Administer payroll through an outside payroll company
- Communicate professionally and efficiently with vendors and an outside payroll company
- Collaborate with team members and other departments within the company
- Make some adjusting entries to the General Ledger
- Assemble and present necessary reports
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed
