Full Stack Cloud Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Full Stack Cloud Engineer to take end to end ownership of cloud based distributed applications. This role is hands on and highly collaborative combining application development in TypeScript / SQL with cloud infrastructure and Terraform in a modern enterprise environment.

You will work closely with product design and multiple engineering teams to build evolve and integrate systems spanning both cloud and on premises environments.

Must Have Qualifications

5 years of experience designing and building distributed systems in AWS or another major cloud provider

5 years of professional experience with TypeScript (Golang experience is a strong plus)

Proven experience working within existing complex systems and integrating services across cloud and on prem environments

Hands on experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools and comfort working in CI / CD pipelines

2 years of experience in an enterprise environment collaborating across multiple teams and stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Go (Golang)

Background working on financial or highly regulated applications

Experience building or supporting data visualization or analytics applications

Required Technical Skills

TypeScript

Cloud architecture (AWS or equivalent)

Microservice architecture

Serverless computing

Relational databases (SQL)

ETL pipelines and data workflows

Responsibilities

Own the full lifecycle of application code (TypeScript / SQL) and infrastructure code (Terraform)

Design build deploy and maintain scalable cloud based services

Participate in design architecture and product discussions providing technical guidance and implementation insights

Collaborate effectively across a large enterprise organization with multiple engineering and business teams

Ensure reliability maintainability and performance of systems in production
