The Corporate Strategy team tackles some of Visas toughest questions to chart our long-term strategy. Our Corporate Strategy group is composed of six distinct teams : a Global Strategy team - driving strategy work across Visas businesses geographies and functions and five regional teams - driving strategy work in each of Visas five geographic regions. The associate role is on the Global Corporate Strategy team.

We are an apprenticeship-based culture rigorously investing in the cultivation of exceptional this role you will embark on a structured two-year experience that serves as the foundation for a lasting career at Visa. The two-year experience is designed for you to receive regular coaching develop a board network across Visa and tackle the most difficult and pressing strategic and operational topics at Visa. After two years you will continue to grow on the strategy team or move to a broader business area at Visa.

The Associate of Corporate Strategy will :

• Support major workstreams across projects that strengthen Visa Inc.s corporate strategy
• Solve business problems by collaborating with a range of internal stakeholders across functions and regions
• Develop rigorous fact-based quantitative analyses to support recommendations
• Communicate recommendations within the Corporate Strategy Team and to broader internal audiences including senior executives
• Participate in regular strategy and payment focused trainings

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications : Basic Qualifications

2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD or PhD)

Preferred Qualifications

3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD)

Typically requires experience in management consulting corporate strategy investment banking or equivalent

Experience in and / or significant exposure to the payments industry not required but a plus

Superior analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor attention to detail and ability to structure and analyze sophisticated financial modeling

Personal presence and ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to senior stakeholders and external business partners

Additional Information :

Work Hours : Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements : This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental / Physical Requirements : This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk communicate in person and by telephone frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY : The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 123000 to 173950 USD per year which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge skills experience and addition this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
