Contributing to the development of customer relationships through the provision of excellent customer service. Support Parts Availability – Securing the availability of the right parts at the right time for external and internal customers. Support Parts Operations Compliance – Contribute to the running of a well-organized and cost-efficient parts operations, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, fulling external and internal customer needs. Parts Department Culture – Contribute to the environment and culture by bracing acceptance, active teamwork participation, self-peer accountability while committing to professional development Business Acumen – Using an understanding of business issues, processes, and outcomes to maintain and enhance business performance. Safety & Health – Demonstrates understanding of the importance of safety and health policies, procedures, and regulations. Creates and safeguards a healthy, safe, and sustainable work environment for all employees. Communication & Teamwork – Listens and communicates openly, honestly, and respectfully with diverse audiences while promoting dialogue and building consensus; works collaboratively across teams to achieve organizational goals. Products and Services - Maintains an up to date understanding of International and IC Bus products and services necessary to perform duties and tasks. Understands International products and services value proposition connected to processes and business. Customer Understanding & Focus – Demonstrates a strong grasp of customer industries, operations, and business drivers while providing service excellence and tailored solutions that optimize customer profitability. Maintains ongoing client contact and offers seasoned advice to both customers and internal teams to support growth and long-term success. Using Information Technology - Using software and information technology to accomplish one's work. Initiative - Dealing with situations and issues proactively and persistently, seizing opportunities that arise. Focusing on addressing current issues. Resource Management - Demonstrates the effort, willingness, and ambition to achieve desired results. Meets objectives and responds proactively to avoid disappointing results. Explores methods for working more efficiently and more effectively, showing perseverance. Problem Solving - Identifying problems and the solutions to standard problems. Overview
The Parts Advisor’s main responsibility is to maintain a well-organized and cost-efficient parts department and warehouse, promoting the sale of products. Thus, ensuring a high level of parts availability and supporting increased parts sales. This is achieved by working proactively with internal and external customers daily. This work contributes to an optimized utilization of the service shop and long profitable relations with the customers.
