Security Guard - Government Evening Patrol Driver

Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations to help create a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. This role requires driving responsibilities as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
  • Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site procedures.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required as per client requirements.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
