Job Responsibilities
  • Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and devise personalized therapy strategies aimed at helping them reach their functional aspirations.
  • Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methodologies to improve patients' motor functions, cognitive skills, and overall daily activities.
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with OTs, PTs, STs, and healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive and multifaceted care.
  • Educate Patients and Caregivers: Provide guidance to families and individuals on therapy practices that support continued progress at home.
  • Document and Assess Progress: Monitor patient development and adjust treatment approaches as necessary to ensure effective recovery.
Education
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Pursuit of continuing education or additional certifications encouraged and supported
Certifications
  • Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
Requirements
