Industrial Maintenance Tech Responsibilities:

· Alter and upgrade machines, build simple machines, tooling and fixtures for use in manufacturing operations.

· Machine and build dies and punches for production per drawing specifications.

· Fabricating and modifying tooling as needed.

· Diagnose and repair machine electrical components.

· Trouble shoot and repair Ultra Sonic Welders, CNC Milling and Lathes, various types of presses, grinder, band and table saws as needed.

· Proactively address safety issues.

· Perform basic facility repair and maintenance including plumbing, HVAC systems, dust collection and air compressors.

· Visually inspect and listen to machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunctions.

· Assist Machine Lead in assembly of complex machines.

· Preventative maintenance includes grease, vacuum, clean machines and necessary machine parts to ensure safe and continual production.

· Install, program and troubleshoot PLC’s, pneumatic and hydraulic controllers.

· Perform Lockout/Tagout on equipment.

· Perform machine setup and run production parts using Mills, Lathes as needed to assist the Manufacturing Department.

· Opening and closing of building and responding to alarm events (both during work hours and off hours) on an as needed basis.

Qualifications:

· Three years of maintenance experience working on industrial machinery and basic electrical repair required.

· Previous experience altering and upgrading machines, build simple machines, tooling and fixtures a plus.

· Previous experience with lockout/tag out procedures.

· Read and understand blueprints, shop orders and electrical schematics required.

· Ability to successfully read and utilize inspection and measuring instruments required.

· Valid driver’s license to drive company vehicle as needed.

· Associate Degree from a technical school in mechanical field ideal.
