Location: Abilene, TX
Salary: $62,000 - $70,000 per year
Sign-On Bonus: $6,000
Relocation Assistance: $5,000 for applicants relocating 200+ miles away
Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift (4x 10-hour shifts)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced MRI Technologist to join our Radiology team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing technical duties involving MRI imaging, including developing, initiating, and monitoring procedures to ensure the efficient operation of the MRI unit. If you are a detail-oriented professional with at least 2 years of experience in MRI, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images in accordance with physician orders.
• Develop, initiate, and monitor imaging protocols and procedures to maximize efficiency and patient outcomes.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and adhere to confidentiality standards while interacting with patients and team members.
• Collaborate with Radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care.
• Perform quality control checks on equipment and imaging results to ensure accuracy and safety.

Requirements

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiology Program.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
• Licenses/Certifications:
• ARRT Registered.
• Texas Medical Board MRT license.
• CPR-BLS certification.
• Skills:
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to handle confidential patient information with discretion.
• Proficiency in MRI imaging techniques and protocols.
