Interventional Radiology Technologist (Day Shift)

  • Location : Pflugerville TX 78660
  • Shift : 8-hr Days 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM
  • Job Type : Permanent
  • Guaranteed Hours : (40 hours / week)
  • Compensation : Based on experience (Negotiable)

Job Summary :

The Interventional Radiology Technologist performs interventional radiology procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients under the supervision of a Radiologist. These procedures requested by a physician or licensed provider are conducted to diagnose and treat diseases and injuries in accordance with established protocols.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist radiologists during interventional procedures ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Prepare and maintain interventional radiology equipment and sterile instruments.
  • Monitor and document patient vital signs and responses during procedures.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and procedure documentation.
  • Follow radiation safety protocols for patients staff and self.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.

    • Qualifications :

    Education & Experience :

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Previous experience in Interventional Radiology.
  • Willing to consider Radiologic Technologists with a strong general radiology background and interest in cross-training.

    • Certification / Licensure :

  • Required :

    • ARRT Radiography Certification (ARRT-R)

  • Must obtain within 2 years of hire (at least one of the following) :

    • ARRT-VI (Vascular Interventional Radiography)

  • ARRT-CI (Cardiac Interventional Radiography)
  • ARRT-CV (Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography)
