Salesman

As a Sales Representative for River City Roofing Solutions, you’ll be a warm, professional face for our company — meeting homeowners, understanding their roofing needs, and offering trusted solutions backed by our reputation for quality craftsmanship.

Your goal is to build relationships, generate leads, and help customers protect their homes with confidence.

This is a hybrid position, meaning most of your work can be done remotely — managing leads, scheduling inspections, and following up with clients. However, you’ll be required to:

Attend our weekly Monday sales meeting in person.

Be on-site for any construction contacts or projects you sign up, ensuring clear communication and smooth project execution.

This role is ideal for someone who’s self-driven, personable, and passionate about helping others while representing one of the most trusted roofing companies in North Alabama.

Key Responsibilities

Meet with potential customers (virtually or in person) to identify roofing needs and provide solutions.

Educate homeowners on our products, warranties, and installation process.

Generate and follow up on leads through canvassing, referrals, and company-provided sources.

Prepare and present accurate estimates and proposals.

Maintain CRM records and follow up consistently to close deals.

Coordinate closely with production teams and customers to ensure clear, effective communication and top-notch service.

Represent River City Roofing Solutions with professionalism, integrity, and respect at all times.

Qualifications

Must be 21 years of age or older.

Sales experience preferred (roofing, construction, or home improvement industry a plus).

Strong communication skills — able to work effectively with both customers and production staff.

Must be professionally presentable when meeting clients.

Prefer candidates who have a truck or vehicle capable of transporting materials to job sites when needed.

Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to manage your own schedule.

Basic computer skills and experience with CRM software are a plus.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required for local travel.
