Title: Freestanding ER RN at Flower Mound

Shift: Full Time Night Shift 7p-7a

Location: Flower Mound, TX 75028

What you will do in this role:

• Quickly access and prioritize incoming patients
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and stabilize patients
• Provide direct nursing care and supervise non-licensed nursing staff within the RN's scope of practice and in accordance with established policies
• Deliver patient education/follow-up care instructions and make necessary referrals

Licensure/Certifications:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse from Texas Board of Nurse Examiners. Compact license is accepted.
• Current Healthcare Provider ACLS and BLS issued by the American Heart Association required.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Education:

• BSN Highly preferred
• Will consider ADN candidate if candidate has several years of experience, must be enrolled for BSN within 6 months of hire and complete program within 24 months (2yrs). All ADN offers needs to be approved by the CNO
• With CNO approval: If Candidates do not have a BSN Degree but have an ADN, they have a Tuition Free ADN to BSN program here at HCA! Online takes approx a year!

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years acute care experience as an ER RN - Can be flexible with someone who does not have acute care experience but instead several years of freestanding experience!
• Flexible with candidates that may have 10+ years of experience, even if it's not recent.
