Job Summary and Qualifications

Under direction of the Radiology department. The Radiology technician performs a variety of radiographic procedures.

• You will have knowledge of anatomy and understanding of principles of physics, electricity and the methods of exposure.
• You will have the ability to set-up and operate radiograph equipment of diverse variety.
• You will have knowledge of patient care and sterile techniques.
• You will have alertness to detect conditions dangerous to patients and personnel.
• You will have the ability to motivate and direct staff and work harmoniously with all personnel and physicians.

What qualifications you will need:

• Current ARRT-R required
• Current CRT required
• Current State Fluoroscopy license required
• Current BLS required
• AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology required

Riverside Community Hospital is a large acute care facility with 517 beds, established in 1901. It has the most extensive Emergency Room and Level I Trauma Center in the Inland Empire region and is the primary recipient of STEMI (heart attack) cases in Riverside County. The hospital is accredited as a Chest Pain Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center and has a HeartCare Institute that offers both invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures. Riverside has a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, which it is very proud of.
