Your Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care strategies
  • Diagnose and manage acute, chronic, and episodic illnesses alongside physicians or independently based on your licensure
  • Educate patients and their families on preventive care, wellness strategies, and effective disease management
  • Prescribe medications and therapies within the legal framework of your practice
  • Engage in follow-up care and assist in the management of chronic conditions
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, patient-first care
  • Maintain precise and thorough documentation using electronic medical records (EMR)
Qualifications and Credentials
  • Earned a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
  • Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Certifications Required
  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Indiana
  • Nationally recognized certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
