Job Overview : As a Junior Packaging Associate, you will be instrumental in operating packaging lines efficiently and accurately, following set procedures and customer requirements while maintaining high-quality standards. Your role will also involve guiding and supporting your colleagues in the packaging area.

Position Details :

Shift : 7 : 00am - 3 : 30pm, Monday - Friday with rotating Saturdays

Pay : $18.95 per hour

Key Responsibilities :

• Effectively package products into bags, boxes, or totes based on customer specifications.
• Conduct and document quality control checks, ensuring accurate data entry into the system.
• Interpret product specifications and packaging requirements, promoting clear communication within the team.
• Assist in training and cross-training new and backup associates.
• Perform product sampling and testing for mix, labeling, and weight to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Adhere to all safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Support advanced Packaging Operators in their duties.
• Keep your workspace and packaging equipment organized and clean.
• Implement lockout / tagout protocols for equipment maintenance and jam resolution.
• Make basic adjustments to equipment to ensure products meet specifications.

Education and Experience :

A High School Diploma or Equivalent is preferred.
