  • Deliver individualized therapy sessions that enhance language, voice, and fluency skills, as well as address swallowing difficulties.
  • Work in close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, as well as family members to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Educate patients and families to reinforce treatment progress beyond the clinical setting.
  • Participate in occasional inpatient therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring a seamless continuum of care.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation to comply with state, federal, and organizational standards.
  • Stay abreast of developments in the field through continuous education and engaging with colleagues.
Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a clinically supervised fellowship year (CFY) may be expected if not yet ASHA-certified.
Licenses and Certifications
  • Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is desired.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be acquired within 30 days of hire.
Essential Skills
  • Expertise in evidence-driven treatment practices for clients of all ages, complemented by a robust understanding of various speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, facilitating effective communication with patients, families, and diverse care teams.
  • Adept at modifying therapy approaches to cater to a wide array of cultural and linguistic needs.
  • Possess strong clinical judgment and innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records and compliance documentation methods.
Perks and Benefits
  • Competitive compensation structure that respects your experience.
  • Flexible schedules designed to promote a balanced lifestyle and manage variable caseloads.
  • Opportunities to specialize in areas such as pediatrics, neuro rehabilitation for adults, or geriatric care.
  • Generous paid time off (PTO) and recognized holiday pay.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans.
  • Support for continuing education and professional growth pursuits.
