Title : Customer Service Advocate – Part time

Department : UMC Urgent Care at KingsPark

Summary

We are seeking a part-time team member for a high-volume clinic. The Customer Service Advocate serves as a direct contact for patients via telephone, in-person, or online platform. The CSA is responsible for scheduling patients, verifying insurance, collecting payments, and exemplifying the Service is our Passion culture.

Tuesday & Wednesday : 5 PM – 9 PM

Every other weekend :

Friday : 5PM – 9PM Saturday & Sunday : 9AM – 6PM

Wednesday & Thursday : 5PM – 9PM

Every other weekend :

Friday : 5PM 9PM Saturday & Sunday : 9 AM – 6 PM

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities :

Must have experience in meeting people and dealing with them under adverse conditions. General computer skills. Must have excellent customer service and organizational skills. Must be capable of learning quickly and accepting change.

Minimum Qualifications :

High School diploma, typing speed of 30 wpm, high attention to detail, excellent customer service skills and strong communication skills.

Preferred qualifications :

Previous experience in a general office capacity.

Environmental Conditions :

Well-heated and ventilated building. Normal office environment. Fast paced, professional environment.

Physical Requirements :

Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping, and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordinator and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports. Must be able to transact business in person or on the telephone. Hours may vary depending on the needs of the department.
