Accountant - Entry Level

Entry-Level Accountant

We are looking for an entry-level accountant to join a well-established non-profit organization in New York, NY. This is a hybrid contract-to-permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity for growth and skill development within the finance sector. The role requires a proactive individual who is comfortable working both independently and collaboratively, and is eager to contribute to the organization's financial operations.

Responsibilities :

• Assist with vendor onboarding processes to ensure accurate and efficient handling of accounts payable.
• Manage corporate credit card transactions, including reconciliation and reporting.
• Support the preparation and submission of tax-related forms such as Form 1099 and W-9.
• Utilize NetSuite software to maintain accurate financial records and perform accounting functions.
• Collaborate on expense management tasks to ensure timely reporting and compliance.
• Generate reports and analyze financial data using Microsoft Excel.
• Ensure adherence to IRS guidelines and organizational policies in all financial processes.
• Participate in regular audits to maintain accuracy and integrity of financial information.
