Teammate Success Coach

Minimum Education Requirement:

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field

Ideal Candidate:

Strong background in workforce development, employee coaching or advising; or social services/community-based work experience; or education/student support/student services experience.

Job Summary:

This role provides direct, one-on-one wraparound support to newly hired and existing frontline teammates, helping them address barriers that impact employment stability, job success, and long-term retention. The Teammate Success Coach connects individuals to internal and external resources, essential skill development, and support services that promote overall well-being. In addition, this role assists teammates in exploring career development opportunities and setting employment or career goals as appropriate.

Location:

We are hiring 3 Teammate Success Coaches; one for each of the following Milwaukee, WI locations-

  • Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center
  • Aurora Sinai Medical Center
  • Aurora West Allis Medical Center

Work Experience:

Typically requires 2 years of experience in coordinating community or corporate training programs, showing demonstrated success in Workforce Development, Human Resources, public and private entities, schools and/or churches.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities needed for Success:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of barrier reduction strategies, wraparound services, community resources, and essential skills development
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust with teammates from diverse backgrounds
  • Ability to assess needs, identify barriers, and connect teammates to appropriate internal and external supports
  • Familiarity with crisis response or high-barrier situations and the ability to provide timely resource navigation
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage an active caseload
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a supportive, team-focused environment
  • High proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, virtual meeting tools, and other technology platforms
  • Ability to guide teammates in exploring career development options and setting career or employment goals when appropriate

Major Responsibilities

  • Provides one-on-one support to help teammates address personal, financial, transportation, childcare, and other barriers that may impact job success or retention
  • Maintains consistent contact with an active and rotating caseload, conducting regular coaching sessions both in-person and virtually
  • Assesses needs and develops individualized support plans focused on stability, essential skills, and wraparound services
  • Responds to emergent or crisis situations and connects teammates to internal or external resources for timely resolution
  • Allocates available wraparound and financial support services to help teammates overcome immediate barriers
  • Maintains accurate and timely case documentation, tracking coaching interactions, supports provided, and progress
  • Partners with site leaders to identify teammate needs, coordinate support, and remove barriers impacting job stability
  • Supports onboarding and orientation for teammates entering workforce development programs or upskilling initiatives
  • Provides teammates with information about internal development opportunities, educational assistance, and work-based learning programs. Supports teammates in exploring career pathways and setting longer-term career or employment goals as appropriate
  • Assists with workforce development programs, events, and initiatives in collaboration with the Workforce Development team
  • Promotes a culture of inclusion, respect, and opportunity for teammates from diverse backgrounds
