Lab Technician - Biology

Job Summary:

Our client is seeking Lab Technician - Biology to join their team! This position is located in St. Louis, Missouri.

Duties:

• Perform routine laboratory tasks such as seed dropping, crushing, planting, harvesting, counting, grinding, and reagent preparation
• Assist with operating laboratory equipment to generate accurate and reliable data
• Support the receipt, inspection, ordering, and stocking of laboratory supplies and raw materials
• Follow established laboratory procedures, safety guidelines, and work instructions
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory work environment
• Adapt to changing laboratory tasks and workflows based on production schedules and seasonal demands

Desired Skills/Experience:

• Associate degree in Biology or a related scientific field
• Ability to follow standard laboratory procedures and written instructions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy
• Ability to stand for extended periods (4–6 hours) while performing laboratory tasks
• Basic understanding of laboratory safety practices
• Prior experience in a fast-paced and/or team-oriented work environment
• Familiarity with general laboratory procedures and safety protocols

The approximate pay range for this position is between $21.00 and $26.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
