Investment Banking Analyst / Sr. Analyst-Richmond, VA

We are working with a Richmond based client in the investment arena to find an Investment Analyst. What they do is unique, as is the working environment. It is the perfect arrangement for someone that enjoys modeling and analysis but also work / life balance. The company offers a competitive salary and bonus, and flexibility. This role is in Richmond and the ideal candidate will be in the area. The ideal candidate will have experience with financial modeling either in FP&A, banking, PE, or similar industry. Local candidates will be given first priority.

Responsibilities :

• Perform financial analysis of new and existing portfolio companies
• Compose short-form credit memorandums
• Present analysis to Investment Committee, the firm's executives, and syndication partners
• Monitor and report on risk and exposure for company's portfolio
