We have an immediate opportunity for an Electrical Engineer in the Anaheim, CA area.  This position will support the Field Engineer Group within the Distribution Engineering Department. This is a hybrid position and requires working in the office Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ability to work closely with the field engineering teams supporting capital project scoping, field-based assessments and process improvement initiatives
• Technical analysis, documentation and collaboration will team and stakeholders
• Ability to conduct field assessments and power systems modeling (load flow studies)
• Support grid modernization and infrastructure replacement
• Scope capital projects including overhead / underground conductor replacement, programmable capacitor control and fuse upgrades
• Document and track projects
• Provide recommendations and documentation for system and process improvements
• Assist in training and guiding engineering team on new tools and procedures

Education and Experience

Upon a conditional job offer, a drug test and background check will be required.

Compensation based on experience.
