Job Summary

The Product Information Associate is responsible for the accurate creation, maintenance, and governance of product master data within the Company systems. This role ensures that all item codes are generated in accordance with company standards and that product data is consistently structured, up-to-date, and aligned with cross-functional requirements including supply chain, sales, finance, and operations.

Job Location

This is a hybrid role and this person must live in Fontana, CA.

Job Responsibilities

1. Generate and assign new item codes in the ERP system based on established naming conventions and classification rules.
2. Maintain and update product master data, including descriptions, units of measure, product hierarchies, and attributes.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate product data requirements.
4. Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems by performing regular audits and clean-up activities.
5. Support new product introductions (NPIs) by coordinating item setup and data readiness.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in collaboration with IT and business stakeholders.
7. Document and continuously improve data governance processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
8. Provide training and support to internal users on product data standards and ERP item setup processes.

Job Requirements

• Experience in Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and data management tools.
• Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) and master data governance is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Self-motivated driven by results.
• Experience with data cleansing and standardization techniques.
• Understanding of product classification systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

• The hourly pay rate is $29-$33/hr
