[job_card.job_description]Design, develop, test, and deploy front-end and back-end application components. Integrate with APIs, databases, and external services to deliver functional and secure features. Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and quality assurance activities to maintain high standards. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions. Ensure adherence to coding standards, architectural guidelines, and security best practices. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability. Document code, development processes, and implementation details for team knowledge sharing. Support continuous integration and deployment pipelines, ensuring automated and repeatable releases. Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and best practices. Mentor junior engineers (for mid to senior levels) and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; a master's degree preferred. A bachelor's degree with an additional three (3) or more years of relevant experience may substitute for a master's degree. Experience levels range from Junior (1-3 years) to Subject Matter Expert (SME) (8+ years) in software development. Proficiency in React, Java, Python, and Docker; experience with other modern programming languages and frameworks is a plus. Strong understanding of API development and integration, databases, and UI / UX principles. Knowledge of Agile development practices, CI / CD pipelines, and version control systems (e.g., Git). Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams. Experience mentoring or guiding less experienced engineers is preferred at senior levels. Stay current on AI coding tools and apply them in an ethical and appropriate manner.
