Cook Systems is where your journey to success begins!Title: Civil & Structure Engineering Team LeadPay Rate: $60hr - $69hr DOEPosition: Civil & Structure Engineering Team LeadDescription:-Will be responsible for leading the Civil & Structure studies (from FEL 2 to EXE Overseeing external engineering companies responsible for project studies, challenging them to control design quality and future execution costs. -ensure that the deliverables deadlines are met. -Perform preliminary assessment of existing structures and become the preferred partner of our internal client (GBU) to develop strategic maintenance and repair plans. Additional Duties: -Leading engineering activities for various scopes, including earthworks, roads, civil works, and structural steel worksPreparing and issuing project documents in a timely mannerCoordinating with project teams, suppliers, and external engineering companiesReviewing and following up on deliverables, planning, and construction sequences from engineering contractorsDeveloping sustainable and efficient solutions and carrying out study works autonomouslyStaying up with the standards, guidelines and new techniques and development in the CSE discipline-Position is a contract to permanent contract based on a hybrid working mode of 30-40% offsite Education Required:- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (Preferred with a master's degree) - Relevant work experience in the design of concrete and steel structures, with experience in industrial projects, will be considered extra.Must Have-Knowledge of civil and structural design softwarePreferred bi-lingual (English and Spanish/ FrenchExperience working in a multi-disciplinary team environmentLeadership & Initiative: Proactively guiding project teams, driving decisions, and taking ownership of outcomesCollaboration & Communication: Fostering effective teamwork across disciplines and with external partnersProblem-Solving & Optimization: Demonstrating a capacity to identify challenges, propose innovative solutions, and continuously seek improvementsManages multiple tasks efficiently, adheres to schedules and budgets, and ensures the integrity of project deliverables.Why Work with UsBenefitsAt Cook Systems, we don't just offer jobs we build futures.
