Clinical Nurse II - Vascular Surgery Unit

Join our dedicated Vascular Surgery team and make a difference in the lives of patients with vascular diseases and those requiring surgical interventions. We have two vibrant Vascular Surgery Units : one with 16 beds, including 6 private rooms and 5 semi-private rooms, and another with 20 beds, featuring 2 private rooms and 9 semi-private rooms. Our patient population consists of acute and chronically ill surgical patients ranging in age from 18 to over 90, primarily focusing on individuals aged 45-65. Our treatment plans cover an array of procedures including Carotid Endarterectomy, Lower Extremity Revascularization, Renal Stenting, and care for Vascular Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm patients.

Job Responsibilities

• Implement physician orders, administer medications, initiate IVs, perform treatments and procedures, and document care in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to accurately assess and identify patient conditions.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patient needs and responses to care.
• Exercise sound nursing judgment in managing patient care effectively.
• Provide immediate care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Administer prescribed medications and over-the-counter drugs as directed.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and execute individualized Plans of Care for all patients.
• Guide and mentor ancillary personnel while maintaining high professional nursing standards.
