JOB TITLE : Database Administrator - REMOTE

LOCATION : Remote U.S.

PAY RATE : $40 / hour

Qualifying Questions :

Summary :

Maintain smooth operation and physical design of the Tibco database

Review database design and system integrations recommending enhancements or improvements

Manage database security and integrity controls

Develop and enforce policies procedures and standards for database management

Monitor transaction activity and system utilization

Perform database loading and operational procedure management

Oversee environment management including development test staging and production

Ensure database health through proactive monitoring and reactive responses

Plan and implement backup recovery and upgrade strategies

Coordinate environment transitions and resource planning

Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and maintain system performance

Requirements :

Linux Administration 1 2 years of experience managing Linux systems and environments.

SQL / Database Management 2 4 years of experience writing querying and managing databases.

Troubleshooting 2 years of experience identifying analyzing and resolving technical issues in database or IT systems.

Relationship Building 1 year of experience collaborating with team members and stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
