This position supports the Bayport Polymers Plant in Pasadena, TX. Working in a multi-disciplinary, cross-functional environment, it carries responsibility for implementing and continuously improving the asset maintenance strategy. The position interacts with other technical groups on site (., Process Engineering, Maintenance, Operations and Capital Projects), LyondellBasell Technical Networks, suppliers and original equipment manufacturers (OEM) as-needed to improve asset availability and life cycle cost performance.

A Day in the Life

• Systematically develop, monitor and continuously improve an IEA asset maintenance strategy that ensures Instrument, Electrical and Analyzer (IEA) assets function as required and realize value throughout their life cycles. Task types include :

o Predictive Maintenance or PdM (., AMS, PdMA)

o Preventive Maintenance or PM (., instrument calibration, control valve overhauls)

o Failure-finding (., proof-testing of safety-instrumented systems)

o Corrective Maintenance (., replacement work instructions, repair plans)
