Principal DevOps Engineer

Our client is seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to join their team in Downtown Boston. This is a full-time, direct-hire role with a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote). This position is highly hands‑on, focused on designing, building, and scaling cloud infrastructure in an AWS-based environment, while serving as a senior technical leader and mentor across engineering teams.

The company develops a differentiated, math-driven predictive analytics platform used globally by organizations to support mission‑critical business decisions. They are an established and respected organization with a collaborative, high‑caliber engineering team onsite.

Daily Responsibilities

Architect and build automated cloud infrastructure

Improve system reliability, scalability, and performance

Lead technical direction and best practices for DevOps initiatives

Partner cross‑functionally with engineering and product teams

Mentor engineers and influence platform strategy without direct people management
